The Notebook...

For the last two years, I have been carrying a little notebook. My notebooks have become the lifeline of Vignetting Photography.  The notes within the book are a mixture of clients interviews, ideas, vendors cards, sketches and personal thoughts. But the core essence of the notebook is how do I make Vignetting Photography better. Since starting Vignetting Photography, my measurement of success has been limited to when seeing a client mentions something about our work on social media.

About the same time when I started the notebook, we joined WeddingWire, a network of wedding vendors and started promoting Vignetting Photography. Part of the reason for joining WeddingWire, was to help showcase our work, but also allow WeddingWire, be our independent third party host of our client reviews. We wanted our current and future clients to have the capability to evaluate Vignetting  Photograph and provide honest opinions about our service.

The overall goal of this effort was to learn and improve ourselves. I would evaluate the feedback and try to make us better. When I see written words like "Awesome", "Great", and "Beautiful"; I feel that our overall philosophy of photography focusing on Family, Love, and God's Grace are being met. That is what we love to hear and feel.

However, what has really made Vignetting Photography extremely excited today is the recognized from our clients. WeddingWire has recognized Vignetting Photography of being the top 5% of wedding professionals on WeddingWire that has demonstrated exemplary work that was done in 2016 and the highly regarded reputation that we've established with our clients. We are once again honored with this award. This recognition is not only for Vignetting Photography but for our clients, family, and friends. A new notebook has started and we will continue to document ways to help our present and future clients. Thank you once again.
